Sferro has a solid debut EP with a few experiments in reversing the sound that come at the end of "Auto" and "Wetware". I dig the former, with its powerful chords and descending 6/8 hook, and I could listen to "Wetware" forever; it's got a great atmosphere and melody. "Intelligent" brings some of the funk and a cool beat and a distorted synth lead. The dark atmosphere of "Low Life" is really cool; a shame it's over so quick. The Tommy remix of "Auto" makes it just as dreamy as the title track. kmxexii
at long last!! my senior year.. i was class of 1990. We were totally The Breakfast Club. So cool, one of my favorite albums of early Betamaxx.. Shane Dangers
I've been playing that PC gem called "Hard Reset" while listening to "Hunter's Journey", and it was awesome, great atmosphere. It has indeed a Terminator, Blade Runner and Escape From NY feeling. Protector 101 doesn't come from the 80s, but from the future. This is visionary! - BTW, every song has its own artwork :D chronoclast
