Sigh, Betamaxx. I found some of your music when I initially started listening to any music related to Retro New Wave, Regrettably I did not listen to your whole discography. Betamaxx stands out to me because his tracks are very hyperactive, but without a violent or dark tone. So far pretty much the only artist in the genre or sub genres that can pull that element off. and thats what makes him/her a favorite to me. sean faunce

Spaceship Android takes a trip to the beach. "Somewhere Along the Coast" is fun outrun in the sun with a disco beat that drifts in and out. "The Signal" begins with a lo-fi sound then cuts to normal with a spacey, astral sound. "Cruise" is another fun track that switches bakc and forth between funk and outrun with some nice guitar work. "Saw Her Yesterday" is my favorite, though, a slice of teen dreams with a bittersweet edge. Unrequited love? A past romance? The music's tone only tells so much. kmxexii
